… is in fragments

Somedays words just misbehave. That idea that felt so urgent and relevant during the first coffee ended up being just a few disconnected thoughts, not quite hitting the gold standard. Yep – that’s where we are. Actually a few coffees in and the thoughts, the links, is all hanging around refusing form anything coherent. Yes, I could abuse these thoughts, force them into weird shapes, but who apart from my deadline would love that?
No, instead I’m bringing you my stream of consciousness. Today you get to be the editor (or is it detective?).

German rapper Jan Delay has been slapping down the fans for listening to his music in the wrong way … „Ich möchte nicht, dass ihr meine Lieder sing“:

The supremely awful Donald Trump already has a classic anthem „Angela ist geisteskrank“:

Lemmy Kilmister with his original medical treatise on the correct use of alcohol:

David Bowie and his unique gift for stopping by at parties in time for the photo-opp before scarpering out the back door straight after. Always a pro.

Ingmar Bergman’s magnificent movie „The Seventh Seal”.

The tragedy of the internet part 1: people who post photos of themselves in search of some lasting affirmation.

The tragedy of the internet part 2: people whose sense of social solidarity ends with mouse-clicks, and who would never think to urgently phone a someone who’s constantly posting selfies (it’s a cry for help after all, right?)
